Travelling from the North
On approaching Taupo on State Highway 1 take the right hand turn to Acacia Bay and Kinloch. After 300 metres turn left into Acacia Bay Road. Drive straight ahead for approx 4 kilometres until you arrive at the archway marking the entrance to Acacia Bay. Mapara Road is the second on the right after the archway off Wakeman Road. Travelling from the South
Pass through the town on State Highway 1 and take the first left after crossing the bridge, into Norman Smith Drive. At the t-junction, turn left into Acacia Bay Road and drive straight ahead until you come to the archway marking the entrance to Acacia Bay. Mapara Road is the second on the right after the archway off Wakeman Road.
